The Village Teapot
A family run business that offers a rural tearoom setting in North Lincolnshire.
Project Summary
I partnered with The Village Teapot to build their brand identity from the ground up. They required a package of designs that worked with different aspects of their business and maintained their external outreach. The next steps will be to design and build a website to support their client outreach and attract visitors.
The Problem
The Village Teapot had impending deadlines in which they would need to open their doors, requiring good time management and an efficient workflow. This meant creating a logo, branding, signage, business cards and menus that reflected their story and vision within a tight timeframe.
The work process included a lot of discussions to make sure we were achieving the company’s vision and values, all whilst they were still evolving as they approached their deadline.
Solution
After the initial discussion with the tearoom’s owner, it was clear that they had a certain style and vision in mind for when they were going to open. With this in mind, I started to look at china patterns on plates and teapots, these patterns being the inspiration behind the logo design. When the client was happy with their new logo, I began working on the signage that was going to be distributed around the exterior of the building, and most importantly, in the footfall of their expected customers. Menus and business cards were printed and a new website is in the works for the client to expand their customer outreach.
